It begins on February 1st of the current year and manuscripts must be turned in to the Library by April 30th at 8:00 pm. Winners will be announced on May 5th with a reception on August 19, 2012.
Two new divisions will be added beginning this year for grades 7-12; Children’s Picture Book and Graphic Novel. Students in grades 7-12 may participate in each of these categories or in addition to the fiction story category. A children’s picture book is formatted in 32 pages including the title page with illustrations. The Graphic Novel category is similar to a comic book story.
A list of rules is posted at the Library or click on a link below. You may also call the Library at 872-5341 if you have questions. Thanks for your participation!
